A fullscreen mode and options for 12/24-hour clock and date format customization are included. The app also integrates with the device's People or Contacts app for seamless access. Delivery reports can be configured with toast messages or notifications. The enter button can be adapted for various actions, ensuring customization aligns with personal preferences.

Additional Features and Customizations

Donations to support Messaging Metro Beta unlock advanced features such as incoming message notifications with vibration, tone, or custom LED colors. Users can set custom tones per contact, delete conversations or messages selectively, and enable a screen wake-up for new messages. With the theme options for light and dark patterns and multiple accent colors, users can further customize the visual experience. However, the app currently does not support MMS, with this feature planned for a future update.
